@ Ziro:
I know I'm feeding the troll, but I just have to ask... How exactly is Microsoft supposed to deal the "final blow" to the Wii, considering Nintendo's system has outsold the Xbox by over 30 million units worldwide?
The Xperia Play has been able to play PS1 games from day 1, hacked or otherwise. There's no shortage of PS1 emulators for android. That IS old news.
If anything, the real news here is that someone has found a new way to play those games by hacking the built-in PS1 emulator on the device, which is what the title should have made clear in the first place.
It's not just the fact that this is an Android phone. This is an Android phone with an unlocked bootloader!
And this is old news by the way: http://n4g.com/news/756091/... .
Great article, one of the best I've ever seen on N4G. I love this retro stuff.
Don't feed the troll. Just report him for spamming the site.
pwnage!
For some reason, this story made me nostalgic of the days when we had no in-game XMB...
@ death2smoochie
And the sad part is that by the time Vita is released, the best game on mobile phones will still be Angry Birds. Raw specs mean nothing without the software to use them. And how much will a high-end Kal-El smartphone cost contract-free? But hey, those benchmark apps sure look great!
It's funny how you're asking other people for their sources, while not revealing your own. And don't go linking to vgchartz now. We're interested in real world numbers, not guesstimates.
@ MOTY:
Ohhh, that is just priceless! What high quality Xbox 360 releases are you referring to exactly? Please, I'd like to know precisely what exclusive Xbox 360 game released so far in 2011 blows this ( http://www.metacritic.com/g... ) and this ( http://www.metacritic.com/g... ) out of the water.
@ palaeomerus:
So what's your point? Is it that Sony should publish less games and be more like MS? Even if Sony's profits exploded sky high, how would gamers benefit from that, considering they would be getting LESS games to chose from? I'm sure that would be very good for shareholders, but what's in it for the people who actually play the games?
How are gamers reaping the benefits of Microsoft's increased profits? By getting Kinect shoved down th...
What are you talking about? The 2 GoW games that were remade and released on the PS3 last year were the PS2 games, and those are NOT getting "re-released". God of War Collection: Volume II consists of the 2 PSP games which were previously unavailable on the PS3. That's why it's called "Volume II", because it features entirely different content.
Get your facts straight you dumb troll. You may look less like an idiot next time.
#3 on that list made me nostalgic.
I'm seriously getting old.(sigh)
@ TheDareDevil: It doesn't take a system-specific website to produce complete fanboy trash, and that's exactly what this rant is. The first couple of sentences alone reveal the author's true colors.
If anything, this exposes N4G's biggest flaw. The absolute and complete lack of quality control. Any idiotic troll can start a blog and submit his own "articles" to the site.
How mature. Appropriate too! /s
Believe me, I'm just as fed up of FPS games as you are (I wasn't even a fan of the genre to begin with), but it really looks like this is shaping up to be an all-star team. I have high expectations that if anyone can surprise us it's them.
The DLC "Revery" explains how he became a vampire.
I got the DLC on the day it was released... Been regretting it ever since. I can assure you that at $10, Resurrection IS NOT worth it. It's extremely short, repetitive and frustrating. And mind you, this is coming from a huge Castlevania:LoS fan, who actually enjoyed Revery despite the mixed reviews.
To put things into perspective, with 3 new levels and a retail price of $8, Revery was already a hard sell. Resurrection has only 2 levels which work basically as an extend...
LOL!
I guess Sony wouldn't produce this new version of the PSP if it wasn't cost effective. They probably already had the production capacity in place and are trying to optimize their available resources.
At any case, it's not like they're phasing out the PSP-3000. The new PSP is an alternative to the old model, and having a wider range of options is always a good thing.
